Abstract
The present study demonstrated the results of an online-survey investigating traditional and non-traditional students statistics anxiety and attitudes towards statistics while enrolled in a statistics course. The Statistical solicitude scale (SA) and the Attitude Towards Learning Statistics scale (ATLS) were administered to 207 students at the germ of the semester. As expected, results suggest that non-traditional students scored higher on both scales, indicating a more positive attitude towards the courses and higher levels of statistics anxiety. A negatively charged relationship was also found between the variables. These results help to expand the existing understanding of the differences between traditional and non-traditional students. In addition, suggestions for bring forward research argon explored.
