SELF EVALUATION
Once Ive stock the topic for the Group Leader Assignment, I began to panic close to how well of a chemical group leader I would be. I read the articles by McNeill and Zinn 2-3 times. My main goal for success was approach shot up with internal new ideas and hope that those ideas wouldnt bet grim to others. I am al carriages the one that sees a negative outcome of any group assignment that afterward this leader assignment I think Ive gotten more confidence for future assignments.
I am expiry to admit that I was really scared to go into year and start this discussion because I am more of listener, and partner rather than take action type of individual. But this group that I was assigned to lead was a very kinda group at first because we did not really do each other very well scarcely after I started the discussion they were really talkative which made me intuitive feeling a little more comfortable to open up. I had never felt that I could ever lead solely 5 minutes into the presentation I felt that I held a natural ability to lead and be effective. I think my discussion is decently organized, and was discussed purely in my voice.
furthermore I tried to make it not boring scarcely enjoyable and used different approaches to kick the bucket my main send across and to get the group more involved. There were moments where I would get nervous and the group would be lost but I always found a way to get back on track.
Overall, in doing this exercise, I have corroborate for myself that me deep desire to lead and positively impact others dapple doing so is something that I should actually seek to improve and utilize. What I hope to get from my SOSC 1000 class is a way of figuring out how to dig deeper and perfect leadership.
