This movie was establish on a true story. In comes out to verbalize that the Braddocks are a poor struggling family unless straining to keep themselves to regulateher and be able to get through it all. Jim is a boxer that get pays when he wins the bout to help support his family. He keeps his head up the unit time with help from his trainer. In the beginning he isnt doing so well with his fights.
