I chose the disorder OCD-Obsessive tyrannical Disorder. It is an anxiety disorder characterized by complaints of persistent or crying thoughts (obsessions)

or behaviors (compulsions). The person feels compelled to continue despite an awareness that the thoughts or behaviors may be excessive or inappropriate. The typical

be on of onset for this disorder is usually childhood 6-15 for men and adulthood 20-30 for woman. Although, two-thirds of all adults with OCD had symptoms before 15. I cook

OCD and I stick had if for as long as I can remember. I have been obsessive over cleaning since I was a child. I would cry and get really upset when my cousins would come

into my room and charter a mess with my barbies. I would have everything organized and clean. My aunt just recently told me when I would take a tub I would wipe the tub

out when I was finished. Today, I clean all the time and if I could I would likely vacuum every time I saw a footprint. Sometimes are worse than others, I have vertical days

and really bad days.



As I have occasion older I have also find myself counting when I walk. I count the grout lines in tiles, or every step I take. I become extremely

frustrated when I catch myself doing it and try to taper on other things. It even happens when Im sitting somewhere, bored, I depart count stuff I see.

Men and woman are equally likely to suffer from OCD. Although, men tend to figure symptoms at an earlier age, cleaning compulsions are more leafy vegetable in

woman; men are more likely to be checkers. Common obsessive thoughts in OCD are: fear of macrocosm contaminated by germs, dirt, or contaminating others, fear of causing
