Ignorance is bliss. A phrase I pitch come across continuously through out my sprightliness hardly n invariably truly understood the true center of until I sat down one Thursday good afternoon on September 11 in my tenth crisscross Modern World History class . I watched the HBO accusative that would give me the motivation to rid the excuse of ignorance and enlighten concourse through the art of video by becoming a filmmaker and documentary photographer.
As ritual on this day, I and my peers shared a moment of silence at the lineage of class to commemorate the spare who lost their lives in the tragedies of 9/11. Although I was alive and well during the terrorist attack I mistily recover the details like one would vaguely remember a dream after they have already woken up, but as soon the play was pressed I was face up with the cut throat reality of 9/11. Seeing the wide potential of mans evil and the hurt and unnecessary disaster brought to innocent people effected me so deeply. I castigated my self for having ever lost sight of the true impact of this day and for how innate I was to how many families 9/11 affected . indeed It caused me to think of all the other adversities people could be facing.
hence it angered me when I realized that I and the majority of everyone else could much be oblivious to them but are not held accountable for it simply because of the fact that we were not aware. A strong arrest and inspiration kindled and urged me MAKE people notice, to do well-nigh thing to stop this blatant crime to ourselves and want to suppress peoples ignorance through the same tool that eliminated my ignorance that day.
Ever since that day in tenth grade I have been striving towards my final stage of becoming a filmmaker.
