There ar many factors that have compete a great government agency in my face-to-face political socialization, b atomic number 18ly the greatest are family, religion, and media. Political socialization is a long process by which people form their ideas about authorities and acquire political values. My beliefs that I have go rearward and forth between liberal and conservative. I believe in pro choice, no government involvement in economical issues but in social issues, I am against marihuana but pro gay marriage rights and more gasolene control.
Family is the most important part of influencing ones political socialization. In a study it was shown that 60% of people share the same political belief as their parents, showing that you never really be adrift away from your parents beliefs you keep the same ones. As you grow up your parents teach you authorized values that you learn to respect and hold with, which is why most adults still agree with their parents political choices.
organized religion is also an important factor in ones beliefs. Religious traditions impacts family as well as political beliefs. Depending on what religion you are affects what you think, if you are Jewish than tradition emphasizes social justice which is a liberal idea. But if you are Protestant than tradition emphasizes personal salvation which is saving yourself.

The media helps model opinions on politics. The media uses propaganda to make us think a sure thing. For example if you watch MSNBC you would most likely be a democrat, but if you watch FOX then you would most likely be a republican. These different news place are not democratic or republican news stations per say but they do lean towards a certain side, which can influence what your opinion on what you believe since they only if tell you things that are promoting their political choice.
