On phratry 1, 1939, German forces invaded Poland, and thus began World fight II. But what token of conditions could lead a nation to do such a thing? It could be the shattered economy, (mainly due to World War I). It could be the increased level of oppression within the nation. And it could be the social state of the country as a whole, with its volatile citizens and rapidly growing power-hungry organization. Many of these and other attributes are resembling in the expose-day US. Theres clearly the flunk economy, the fragile social condition, and the prejudice of certain groups. Americas current social, political, and sparing state is in such a perilous condition that its similarities to prewar Germany provide a pr hithertotive tale.
By the end of World War I and the subscribe of the Treaty of Versailles, the German economy had taken a beating. either war costs an incredible amount of m hotshoty, but losing a war costs even more. In August of 1923, one US dollar was worth over 4 one million million million German marks. Poor timing led the German economic downfall to collide with the Great Depression. As a result, unemployment range were higher than ever.
One historian believes at one organize 11 million Germans were unemployed (Castillo). To salvage this economy, autarky was introduced. This is a selfish system, which is solely based on self-sufficiency. International change is discouraged, and government regulations are present everywhere. The short-term results were magnificent, as Germany even failed to fill all their job positions. Simultaneously, this system allowed the German government to build a mass amount of military goods without the everyday ever knowing (Dirk). One of the ways Germany was able to qualify economies so easily was that they were able to find a scapegoat.
