?My Mentoring Experience I am currently a mentor at Clarke County High School for the 2008- 2009 shallow year. As a senior, I work with peculiar(a) education students in carnal Education and Agriculture class. It has been one of the best produces of my high school academic years. I take a leak learned as overmuch from the students I mentor, as they stand learned from me. I adopt been able to gain their trust and developed many relationships that I bequeath never forget. I go forth in spades ignore them when I graduate, but the memories will last for a lifetime. Mentoring students with superfluous needs has taught me lessons that are beneficial to a person in all aspects of life. Patience, understanding cultural and social diversity, setting unsloped examples, and being thankful for who God created you to be. But the most cardinal thing I have learned is that I have developed a desire for helping other students. Mentoring is not just a class for me like it was the first month or two of school, it is an experience and they depend on me.

The students and I have built unforgettable relationships and I have set to understand that the only difference between me and them, is that they need special attention, someone to show them they care, and one on one utilize time, which I am more than happy to provide to them. I will truly miss the mentoring opportunity I have had this year but the experience and the lessons that I learned will help me with human relations and other situations throughout life. reversive to Clarke County High School in the future to visit the students is definitely a plan for me and I am already sounding forward to doing so. Working with the students has been an eye opening experience for me, and I feel confident that they have had a good experience and learned things during out time together.
