The important moment in history I chose to discuss in this composition was the successful election of the nations first ever African American President of the fall in States, Barack Obama. This event brought ab erupt change in the viewpoint of the knowledge domain as to who could succeed this position and diminished old political theory that the world would never be ready for such a drastic move. It restored in me the notion that you truly can be any thing, up to and including the President of our country.
