Attitude essay
The best way to begin an attitude essay is by defining attitude. An attitude is what is used to describe the way an individual thinks. Basically, an attitude is an expression of one’s ideas and the individual’s concepts of wrongs and rights and also the individual’s aspirations. Yet another way to define attitude is that it is the totality of an individual. So are attitudes nurtured or natured? Well the answer to this question is both. Some of the aspects of an individual’s attitude are inborn and some other aspects develop according to the environment in which one grows. The things that an individual grows with always influence the individual’s personal thinking in one way or another and therefore the individual’s attitude. However, as the individual grows, he develops out of his shell and develops his own independent attitudes about several things. Even though at the stage when a person has grown into an adult, some alterations may take place in accordance to the needs of the individual at any particular time, the individual’s basic thinking and attitude always remains constant just as it was when the individual was being groomed for the life that he is leading. Therefore, as much as some minor changes in one’s attitude during adulthood, the basics that an individual grew up with actually never change. It is common saying that an individual is usually defined by his attitude. This statement is very accurate because one an attitude has developed in an individual, the individual is likely to have that attitude for the rest of his life; this is unless something big causes the person to change their attitude.
