These advertisements use women as eye candy to help supercharge their goods. They define the idea of how women should look by displaying women models that often have bodies that are slender and fit that affect how a woman thinks of herself and lose self esteem. In addition to that, women are made only if to be remembered as fashion accessories with no mention of brains or feelings involved. This shows how advertisements are not mattering to sell products or pagan values but to normalize gender roles in society. Advertisements function to make true certain aspects of gender such as men are dominant and women are subordinate, which lead that women are objects. This objectification changes how we view women, how we treat them, and it devalues and degrades our society.
