           Explorers travel from built in bed to place to colonize vast amounts of land and seize it for their mother country. This is the wide-cut definition for the term; however, this is not always true. Sometimes, even they portray hardships and must learn to adapt to their surroundings.  On the twenty-seventh of June in 1527, Governor Pánfilo de Narváez of Spain set out on a mission to reach Florida. He brought along with him his treasure and the chief legal officer, Cabeza De Vaca. Narváez Expedition would be the touch given to this expedition. In this expedition, these explorers would gain new resources, trade, and learn how to adapt to their surroundings. This had inspired Cabeza De Vaca to frame up everything that occurred during this voyage in the format of literature known as Chronicle of the Narváez Expedition. For region of land which is now called Florida, the Spaniards had given it the name of New Spain. When Cabeza De Vaca and his journeymen arrived in New Spain they lapsed in to the primordial Americans of this country. After meeting with Native Americans the Spaniards captured four Native Americans and showed them feed in order to find out if the indigenous nation had corn or not.

The Indians told the Spaniards that they would lead them to the corn, which they humbly did. After covering the corn they had also seen some cargo boxes from Castile which had corpses in them with multi-color deerskins (Cabeza 10). However the Spaniards, similar to most explorers, had not just stick to to New Spain to bring down corn but to conquer and to consider new land for their mother country. However, there was wholeness item which the Indians did not find so valuable but for the Spaniards it was one of the most valuable possessions they could seize. This item was gold!
