psychotic un contumacious in 1960 becoming the most famous of all of Alfred Hitchcock’s movie theaters. Psycho is a story about murder and deception. Psycho portrayed cozyity and violence in a route that was never done before. The film brought forward cultural taboos and mental repression. Before 1960 Hollywood had do films that were very conventional. They would focus or so stars, storyline, and heavy dialogue. Psycho opened up a wad of opportunities for other directors and artists to include in their work moral and sexual issues not dealt with before and the ever changing roles of women.
As the film opens the first character introduced is Marion Crane. She is half dressed and in a hotel get on with her lover, Sam. She is frustrated with having to meet him in these secret liaisons. She requirements to grow a real relationship with him including marriage and respectability. The financial bureau brought on by Sam’s divorce made being together impossible. She returns to work and agrees to make a magnanimous cash deposit for her boss of $40,000.00. The next shot we verify her in her bedroom packing clothes with the money calm in her possession. She has decided to abscond with the money.
After trading in her car and having some nervous discourses with a policeman, she sees a mysterious motel and pulls in to stay the night. She meets Norman Bates and registered for the night. He gives her the key to room number oneand then asks her to have something to eat with him. She agrees and then overhears him and his have fighting about her. Norman and Marion meet in his parlour to eat, while at some point in their conversation she decides not to go through with what she has done. She goes back to her room having decided to return the money. She feels great relief because of her decision and decides to take a bath and unwind.
