Although my people had been subsisting in an organized society for thousands of years before the etiolated man came in 1492, the white man tried to suck up their customs, religion and beliefs on my people over the course of the contiguous 400 years. The Europeans thought of my people as unlearned, godless and uncivilized people. As more white men came onto our land, they pushed us off-key our land, relocating us to the poorest and most undesirable parts of land. They took our children and made them take to heart their school.

Our language, traditions and spirituality were pushed aside and meant to be forgotten as well as stripped from them, thus leaving our children to be interdict to practice our steerings. The new found settlers deceitfully forced their elbow room of life upon my people thinking us to be ignorant savages who did not know better and in need of their counselor that our lifestyle was deemed unfit around others.
