What happens when coachees explore their strengths?
November 28, 2011

The Research Question
Coaching research focuses in general on outcomes and results of the teach experience and few explore the coachees individualistic experience during the process. In the article, What happens when coachees explore their strengths? by Clifford (2011), the author examines the coachees aspect in a strengths-based coaching experience. The title itself is rather bulky but she then breaks the topic into two atomic number 18as of inquiry:
1. How do participants respond to strengths-based coaching? How do they think, feel and react to strengths-based coaching and does anything assist or deter their efforts?
2. How do participants make common sense and then apply strengths-based coaching in actions and behavior?
The legal separation into two questions narrowed the focus to: the response to strengths-based coaching and the coachee reservation meaning from the experience. In spite of the breakd birth, the questions remain broad and vaguely defined.
What is understood is the questions seek to gain insight into the coachees experience and office with strengths-based coaching.
